Day 1

Arrival in Yerevan - Transfer to the hotel


Upon your arrival, you will be met by representatives of our travel agency. After a welcome you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2

Matenadaran - City tour in Yerevan - Noyan Tapan shop


1. Morning breakfast in the hotel. Then you will participate in culinary master class in one of the best restaurant in Yerevan.

2. At the lunch time you will taste the tasty dishes you prepared.

3. After lunch you will visit to the depository of the manuscripts, Matenadaran, where 18000 pieces of works are kept. These works are included into UNESCO World Heritage.

4. Then city tour in Yerevan. During the city tour you will get acquainted with the main streets and the main buildings of Yerevan. Yerevan is the administrative, cultural, and industrial center of the country. The history of Yerevan dates back to the 8th century BC, with the founding of the fortress of Erebuni in 782 BC by king Argishti I at the western extreme of the Ararat plain.

5. During city tour you will visit to Noyan Tapan wine and brandy shop, where are presented a wide range of Armenian drinks.

6. And in the evening you will have a dinner in one of Yerevan jazz clubs. You will spend a pleasant pastime, where beautiful dance music will ensure your high mood․

Day 3

Vernissage - Dried Fruit Market - Lake Sevan - Dilijan


1. After breakfast you will visit to Vernissage. It is a large open-air market in Yerevan, Armenia. The market mainly features a collection of different types of traditional Armenian art works.

2. Dried fruit is fruit from which the majority of the original water content has been removed either naturally, through sun drying, or through the use of specialized dryers or dehydrators.

3. Then visit Lake Sevan-one of the largest high altitude lakes in the world. The lake is at an altitude of 1900 m above sea level. Sevan is famous for its different kinds of fish, particular for ishkhan, which means “princely fish.”

4. At the lunchtime you will taste Armenian fish species on the shore of Lake Sevan.

5. Then you will visite to Sevanavank Monastery (9th c.), located on the peninsula east of Sevan City.

6. After you will go to Dilijan, one of the resort towns in Armenia. Usually called Armenian Switzerland or Little Switzerland by the locals, it is one of the most important resorts of Armenia, situated within the Dilijan National Park. The forested and reclusive town is home to numerous Armenian artists, composers, and filmmakers and features some traditional Armenian architecture.

7. After a little rest, you will walk around Dilijan, visit to Dilijan Geological Museum. At the dinner in Armenian restaurant, you can feel the spirit of Armenian culture with the help of Armenian traditional dishes.

Day 4

Master Class In Restaurant - Haghartsin Monastery - Yerevan


1. After breakfast, participation in the master class in restaurant. There you can cook traditional Armenian dishes with a skilled chef.

2. Also you will visit to Haghartsin Monastery, which is a 13th -century monastery located near the town of Dilijan in the Tavush Province of Armenia. It was built between the 10th and 13th centuries; much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty.

3. Then lunch in the restaurant, where you will taste traditional dishes prepared with your own hands, which will make tempting your journey․

4. On returning to Yerevan you will visit to the Yerevan Wine or Brandy Factory․ According to the well-known Bible History, Armenia is the cradle of viniculture and winemaking.

The fertile soil of Armenia and the sun give a unique peculiarity to Armenian wines․

5. In the evening a delicious dinner at the Armenian traditional restaurant with Armenian rich cuisine, which every time surprises the visitors with its diverse tastes․

Day 5

Yerevan - Khor Virap - Noravanq Monastery - Areni Wine Winery - Yerevan


1. After breakfast you will visit to Khor Virap, which is an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia. Khor Virap's notability as a monastery and pilgrimage site is attributed to the fact that Gregory the Illuminator was initially imprisoned here for 13 years by King Tiridates III of Armenia. The monastery is surrounded by green pasture lands and vineyards within the Ararat plain and is in view of Mount Ararat. There are a few particularly immediately-recognizable national symbols around which all Armenians rally, and Mount Ararat sits quite high on that list. The mountains of Ararat are where Noah’s Ark landed, after all, according to the Book of Genesis, thus affording Mount Masis – the Armenian name used alongside Ararat – a holy status. A piece of Noah’s Ark can be viewed in the museum of Etchmiadzin in the Ararat plain.

2. Then you will visit Areni Wine Winery, where you can taste a wide range of Armenian wines and get acquainted with the ways of its preparation․

3. At the lunch time you will enjoy the Armenian delicious food.

4. After lunch visit to Noravanq monastery, which is a 13th -century Armenian monastery, located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery.

5. Then you will back to Yerevan and have a traditional dinner in the evening.

Day 6

Yerevan - Garni Temple - Geghard Monastery - Yerevan


1. After breakfast you will visit to Garni pagan temple and get acquainted with the ancient culture of Armenia. It is a blend of Greco-Roman and Armenian styles built by King Trdat I in the first century A.D. and dedicated it to the God of Sun. Garni temple is included into UNESCO World Heritage.

2. During lunch you can see traditional bread demonstration in tonir (oven in the ground)․ Lavash baking is a great ritual which is an integral part of Armenian traditions․ Its fragrant smell and taste do not leave anyone indifferent․ You will also taste homemade vodka or wine․

3. Then you will keep your way to Geghard. Geghard monastery (13th century) carved out of the adjacent mountain and initially called Ayrivank which is included in the World Heritage Site.

Due to the fact that the famous spear, with which the Roman soldier wounded Jesus, was kept here for 500 years, the monastery was called Geghardavank (the Monastery of the Spear).

4. In the evening dinner in Megerian Carpet restaurant, where you will get acquainted with the Armenian dances with delicious meals․
